Webster's Dictionary simply defines "MOTHERHOOD" as a state of being a Mother; Maternity; Mother's Collectively; or the Character or Qualities of a Mother. It seems that "MOTHERHOOD" has in recent years once again gained prominence, after too many years when "ABORTION," sad to say, was the prominent step taken by those who wanted no part of the tremendous responsibility of being a "MOTHER!" Unfortunately, many who "ABORTED" their Baby have openly testified of the painful price they have personally paid for their action!  

Friend, LIFE IS PRECIOUS AND "MOTHERHOOD" IS A PRECIOUS GIFT FROM GOD, THE GIVER AND SUSTAINER OF ALL LIFE. Speaking to the People of Athens, the Apostle Paul declared, "God, who made the World, and Everything in it...GIVES TO ALL "LIFE" "BREATH" AND ALL THINGS..... FOR IN HIM WE "LIVE" AND "MOVE" AND HAVE OUR BEING." Acts 17:24-28

It is truly a Wonderful Day that has been established for the express purpose of Honoring our "MOTHER'S!" A special Day that originated with the action of Anna M. Jarvis, who along with others began a letter writing campaign to gain the support of Influential Minister's, Businessmen, and Congressmen in declaring a "NATIONAL MOTHER'S DAY!" The first observance was held on May 10, 1908 at a Church Service in Grafton, West Virginia, and in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The House of Representatives in May 1913 unanimously adopted a resolution requesting the President, his Cabinet, Members of Congress, and all Officials of the Federal Government to wear WHITE CARNATIONS on "MOTHER'S DAY!" On May 8, 1914, Congress passed another Joint Resolution designating the 2nd Sunday of May as "MOTHER'S DAY!"

Abraham Lincoln once stated, "NO ONE IS POOR WHO HAS A GODLY MOTHER!" Writing to Timothy, his spiritual son in the Faith, the Apostle wrote, "I am reminded of your Sincere Faith which First lived in your "GRANDMOTHER" LOIS and in your "MOTHER" EUNICE, and I am persuaded now lives in you." II Timothy 1:5 What a powerful Testimony of the Faithfulness of a Grandmother, and Mother in living and sharing the Word of Truth with Family!

Dedicated Christian "MOTHER'S" in the sight of God are of GREAT PRICE! Such "MOTHER'S" are commissioned by the Lord to "FAITHFULLY" Bring up and Teach their Children the True Way of Life. The story is told about William McKinley, a fine Lawyer, Congressman, Governor of Ohio, and finally President of our Great Country. He had a very close relationship with his "MOTHER" and either visited or sent her a message Every Day. When she became seriously ill, he arranged to have a special train standing by ready to take him to her bedside. Mrs. McKinley died December 12, 1897 in the arms of her 54 year old Son.

Her gentle Christian Virtues helped mold the President's Character. Four years later, President McKinley was gunned down in the City of Buffalo, New York by an Assassin to whom he showed no Bitterness. With a heart full of FORGIVENESS, and with Great Christian Compassion and Courage, he said, "GOD'S WILL BE DONE!" Before he died, he asked to hear once again one of the songs his "MOTHER" had taught him. It was "NEARER MY GOD TO THEE!" Once again, a marvelous testimony of the Faithfulness of a "MOTHER" who did not fail to "TRAIN UP HER CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO, AND WHEN HE WAS OLDER, HE DID NOT DEPART FROM IT!" Proverbs 22:6

"HER CHILDREN ARISE AND CALL HER "BLESSED; HER HUSBAND ALSO, AND HE PRAISES HER!" Proverbs 31:28 A Christian "MOTHER" is one who has True Love in her Heart; Tenderness of Soul; with a Faith in Christ that Fortifies her for Every Trial in Life. She brings her Sons and Daughters before God's Throne daily, seeking to bring them to the place where they become VESSELS FOR GOD'S GLORY and a BLESSING TO OTHERS! Always willing to "SACRIFICE" much for the spiritual good of her Children.

How much we need to PRAY for our Nation, that such "MOTHER'S" in this Day of Spiritual Weakness may become the "RULE" and not the "EXCEPTION!" Laura V. Cline wrote: I stand beside the Ocean Blue and Think of all that's Good and True, and, Of all the Lovely Things God Made, There's One Above All Others. HE TOOK THE BEST FROM ALL OF THESE AND MADE THEM INTO "MOTHER'S!

Excellence in the Workplace should be the GOAL of every Employee. The Apostle Paul challenged all Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to "Obey in all things your Masters according to the flesh, NOT WITH EYE-SERVICE, AS MEN PLEASERS, but in Sincerity, and in Reverence to God. And whatever you do, do it HEARTILY, AS TO THE LORD, and not to Men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the Reward of the Inheritance, FOR YOU SERVE THE LORD CHRIST." Colossians 3:22-24

If anyone in this whole wide Word should be an "AMBASSADOR OF EXCELLENCE" it should be those in the Redeemed Family of God. The Word of God states that, "We are "AMBASSADORS" FOR CHRIST, as though God were pleading through us; we implore you on Christ's behalf, BE RECONCILED TO GOD. For He made HIM who KNEW NO SIN, TO BE SIN FOR US, that we might become the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM."           II Corinthians 5:20-21

How powerful was the Testimony of the Believer's in the City of Thessalonica. They were indeed "AMBASSADORS OF EXCELLENCE!" Of these devoted servants of Christ the Apostle Paul wrote: "You became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the Word in much affliction, with JOY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, so that you became

Though "APRIL SHOWERS" may come your Way, they bring the Flowers that Bloom in May. So if it's "RAINING" have no Regrets, because it isn't Raining Rain, you know, it's Raining Violets. And where you see Clouds upon the Hills, you soon will see Crowds of Daffodils, So keep on looking for the Blue Bird, and list'ning for his Song, whenever "APRIL SHOWERS" COME ALONG."

What a wonderful treat it is to drive along the highways and byways to see the Trees blossoming and the Bushes alive with beautiful flowers, and the Bulbs that were planted springing up with Life and Beauty. Yes, all this Beauty springs forth because of the refreshing and much needed "APRIL SHOWERS!"

The Psalmist David wrote about the importance of those "HEAVENLY SHOWERS!" "YOU visit the Earth and Water it. YOU greatly Enrich it. The River of God is full of Water; YOU provide their Grain, for so YOU have prepared it. YOU Water its Ridges Abundantly, YOU Settle its Furrows, YOU MAKE IT SOFT WITH "SHOWERS" AND YOU BLESS ITS GROWTH. YOU Crown the year with YOUR Goodness, and YOUR Paths DRIP with Abundance. They DROP on the Pastures of the Wilderness, and the Little Hills Rejoice on every side. The Pastures are Clothed with Flocks and the Valleys also are covered with Grain. THEY SHOUT FOR JOY, THEY ALSO SING." Psalm 65:9-13

Is there ever a time when those wonderful soft "SHOWERS" are withheld from Enriching the Earth. O yes, Friend, there are times when God withholds such a needful Blessing. It happened in the days of the Prophet Jeremiah. "Lift up your eyes to the DESOLATE HEIGHTS and see....You have Polluted the Land with your Harlotries and your Wickedness. THEREFORE THE "SHOWERS" HAVE BEEN WITHHELD AND THERE HAS BEEN NO LATTER RAIN. You have had a Harlot's forehead and Refuse to be Ashamed" Jeremiah 3:3

Again we read "King Ahab did more to PROVOKE the Lord God of Israel to Anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him. And Elijah the Tishbite said to Ahab, "As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, THERE SHALL BE NO "RAIN" NOR DEW THESE YEARS!" I Kings 16:33 & 17:1 Of this time in history, in the Epistle of James we read: "Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not RAIN, and it did not RAIN on the land for THREE YEARS AND SIX MONTHS. and he PRAYED again, and the HEAVEN GAVE RAIN, AND THE EARTH PRODUCED ITS FRUIT." James 5:17-18

There are times when the Lord has to teach us some very important lessons. "Behold, the Lord's Hand is not Shortened that it cannot Save, Nor His Ear Heavy that it cannot Hear, BUT YOUR INIQUITIES HAVE HIDDEN HIS FACE FROM YOU, SO THAT HE WILL NOT HEAR. SIN caused the RAINS to be WITHHELD! But, the Word of God assures us   "If we Confess our Sins, He is Faithful and Just to Forgive us our Sins, and to Cleanse  us from all UNRIGHTEOUSNESS." I John 1:9 When the People of Israel turned from their SIN in TRUE REPENTANCE, "THEN" the "RAINS" were Restored and it SOFTENED  the Earth and it again Produced its Fruit.

"There shall be SHOWERS OF BLESSING this is the promise of Love; there shall be Seasons Refreshing, sent from the Savior above. There shall be SHOWERS OF BLESSING, Precious Reviving again; Over the Hills and the Valleys, sound of Abundance of Rain. There shall be SHOWERS OF BLESSING, Send them upon us O Lord; Grant to us now a Refreshing, Come, and now Honor Your Word. There shall be SHOWERS OF BLESSING, O that Today they might Fall; NOW AS TO GOD WE'RE CONFESSING, NOW AS ON JESUS WE CALL.

       "DON'T BE "FOOLED" BY THE DECEIVER!"

"APRIL FOOL'S DAY" is considered to be one of the light hearted days of  the year, and yet, this Day we Celebrate stems from a Serious Subject - The Adoption of a New Calendar. Back in time, APRIL "1" was Celebrated as "NEW YEARS DAY" which closely follows Vernal Equinox, around the 20th and 21st of March. In 1582 Pope Gregory "13" established the Gregorian Calendar, and this Changed the "NEW YEAR" Celebration to the First Day of January.

In France many refused to accept the New Date, and for years, many didn't even know the Date had been Changed and Continued to Celebrate NEW YEARS on "APRIL 1." Can you imagine the FUN that was played on these Traditionalists. They were sent on "FOOLS" errands, and often "TRICKED" to believe other things that were Not True. Well, I'm sure we all at one time or another have been "TRICKED" by some one's joke, and when they saw how they Really Caught Us Unawares, they would shout, "APRIL FOOL!" I am sure this kind of prank has happened to all of us, but here is the BIG QUESTION! Are you the RIGHT KIND OF "FOOL?"

Can you believe it, the Apostle Paul said that he was a "FOOL!" So did King Saul, the First King of Israel. However, Paul said, "I AM A FOOL FOR CHRIST!" O yes, Paul knew the difference between the Wisdom of this World and the Wisdom that comes from God. He wrote, "Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be WISE  in this Age, LET HIM BECOME A "FOOL" that he may become "WISE!" For the WISDOM of this World is

                           "FOOLISHNESS" WITH GOD.

In the case of King Saul, he thought he could render service to God in his own Haughty Self-serving way. O yes, there was a Day, when the Prophet Samuel had to say to this Self Exalted Man, "WHEN YOU WERE "SMALL" IN YOUR OWN EYES" that was the Good Day, but now it has all changed, and you have lifted yourself above the clear word of God, and because of your SIN you can no longer rule over the People of Israel.

King Saul, realizing the FOLLY of his decision to do his OWN THING, had to finally say,           

Listen carefully Friend, when we Play with Sin, and Persist in doing our Own Thing, we too will learn the meaning of the words of this past king, "I HAVE PLAYED THE FOOL!"

If "ONLY" this so called "94%" would Declare that their Faith truly rests in Jesus Christ "ALONE" and if each one would take a Firm, Steadfast Stand for their SAVIOR AND LORD and the TRUTH of the INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD, this Nation would be turned upside down over night. Well Friend,

                                      "WHO'S "FOOL" ARE YOU?

                     A FOOL FOR CHRIST OR A FOOL FOR SATAN?

                  ONLY CHRIST HAS THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE!

                              STAND UP. STAND UP FOR JESUS!

HIS "BODILY RESURRECTION" FROM THE DEAD, IS OUR ASSURANCE THAT WE TOO, WHO ACCEPT HIM AS LORD AND SAVIOR, SHALL LIVE WITH HIM ETERNALLY!"

"BUT IF THE SPIRIT OF HIM WHO RAISED UP JESUS FROM THE DEAD DWELLS IN YOU, HE WHO RAISED UP CHRIST FROM THE DEAD WILL ALSO GIVE LIFE TO YOUR MORTAL BODIES THROUGH HIS SPIRIT WHO DWELLS IN YOU… FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THESE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD. FOR YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THE SPIRIT OF "BONDAGE" AGAIN TO "FEAR" BUT YOU RECEIVED THE SPIRIT OF ADOPTION BY WHOM WE CRY, "ABBA FATHER!" THE SPIRIT HIMSELF BEARS WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD. AND IF CHILDREN, THEN HEIRS, HEIRS OF GOD AND JOINT HEIRS WITH JESUS CHRIST."              Romans 8:11-17

On that glorious third day after Jesus Christ was crucified, certain women went to the tomb and were startled by a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from Heaven and going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.

"AND THE ANGEL SAID TO THE WOMEN, "DO NOT BE AFRAID, FOR I KNOW THAT YOU SEEK JESUS WHO WAS CRUCIFIED. HE IS NOT HERE, FOR HE IS "RISEN" EVEN AS HE SAID. COME, SEE THE PLACE WHERE THE LORD LAY, AND GO QUICKLY AND TELL HIS DISCIPLES THAT HE IS "RISEN" FROM THE DEAD, AND INDEED HE IS GOING BEFORE YOU INTO GALILEE; THERE YOU WILL "SEE" HIM! SO THEY WENT OUT QUICKLY FROM THE "TOMB" WITH “FEAR” AND "GREAT JOY" AND RAN TO BRING HIS DISCIPLES WORD!" Matthew 28:5-8

How many times Jesus spoke about going to Jerusalem where He would finally be put to DEATH, but He never stopped there with the statement of His Death, but always said, that He would “RISE” again from the Dead.

“THE REASON MY FATHER LOVES ME IS THAT I LAY DOWN MY LIFE TO TAKE IT AGAIN. NO ONE TAKES IT FROM ME, BUT I LAY IT DOWN OF MY OWN ACCORD. I HAVE AUTHORITY TO LAY IT DOWN AND AUTHORITY TO TAKE IT UP AGAIN!” I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR MY SHEEP!”          John 10:14-18

Yes Friend, after His resurrection, JESUS CHRIST was seen “ALIVE” by many “WITNESSES” and by many “INFALLIBLE PROOFS!” The Scripture states:

"AFTER HE THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT HAD GIVEN COMMANDMENTS TO THE APOSTLES WHOM HE HAD CHOSEN, TO WHOM HE ALSO "SHOWED" HIMSELF "ALIVE" AFTER HIS SUFFERING BY "MANY INFALLIBLE PROOFS" BEING "SEEN" BY THEM DURING "FORTY DAYS" AND SPEAKING OF THE THINGS PERTAINING TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD." Acts 1:2-3

What an amazing and wonderful truth! After His triumphant resurrection, Jesus Christ stayed with the Apostles “FORTY DAYS” speaking   to them of the things pertaining to the KINGDOM OF GOD!

THE GATES AND DOORS WERE BARRED AND THE WINDOWS FASTENED DOWN, I SPENT THE NIGHT IN SLEEPLESSNESS AND ROSE AT EVERY SOUND; HALF IN HOPELESS SORROW, AND HALF IN FEAR THE DAY WOULD FIND THE SOLDIERS BREAKING THROUGH TO DRAG US ALL AWAY. AND JUST BEFORE THE SUNRISE I HEARD SOMETHING AT THE WALL; THE GATE BEGAN TO RATTLE AND A VOICE BEGAN TO CALL; I HURRIED TO THE WINDOW AND LOOKED DOWN IN THE STREET, EXPECTING SWORDS AND TORCHES AND THE SOUND OF SOLDIER’S FEET.

THERE WAS NO ONE THERE BUT MARY SO I WENT DOWN TO LET HER IN; JOHN STOOD THERE BESIDE ME AS SHE TOLD US WHERE SHE’D BEEN; SHE SAID THEY MOVED HIM IN THE NIGHT AND NONE OF US KNOWS WHERE, THE STONE BEEN ROLLED AWAY AND HIS BODY IS NOT THERE. WE BOTH RAN TOWARD THE GARDEN AND JOHN RAN ON AHEAD; WE FOUND THE STONE AND EMPTY TOMB JUST THE WAY THAT MARY SAID; BUT THE WINDING CLOTHES THEY WRAPPED HIM IN WAS JUST AN EMPTY SHELL, AND HOW OR WHERE THEY HAD TAKEN HIM WAS MORE THAN I COULD TELL. WELL SOMETHING STRANGE HAD HAPPENED, BUT JUST WHAT I DIDN’T KNOW; JOHN BELIEVED A MIRACLE, BUT I JUST TURNED TO GO; CIRCUMSTANCE AND SPECULATION COULDN’T LIFT ME VERY HIGH, FOR I HAD SEEN THEM CRUCIFY HIM AND THEN I SAW HIM DIE.

BACK INSIDE THE HOUSE AGAIN THE GUILT AND ANGUISH CAME; EVERYTHING I PROMISED HIM JUST ADDED TO MY SHAME; WHEN AT LAST IT CAME TO CHOICES, I DENIED I KNEW HIS NAME, AND EVEN IF HE WERE ALIVE, IT WOULDN’T BE THE SAME. SUDDENLY THE AIR WAS FILLED WITH A SWEET AND STRANGE PERFUME; LIGHT THAT SHONE FROM EVERYWHERE DROVE SHADOWS FROM THE ROOM; JESUS STOOD BEFORE US WITH HIS ARMS HELD OPEN WIDE, AND I FELL DOWN ON MY KNEES AND I JUST CLUNG TO HIM AND CRIED.

"IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH "JESUS" AS "LORD" AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD HAS "RAISED" HIM FROM THE "DEAD" YOU "WILL" BE "SAVED!" FOR WITH THE "HEART" ONE BELIEVES UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND WITH THE "MOUTH" CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO "SALVATION!" Romans 10:9-10

On PALM SUNDAY, MARCH 16, 2008 in Churches all over the world, The Body  of Christ will Celebrate the Glorious Entrance of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, riding on a Lowly Donkey. "Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two Disciples, saying to them, "Go into the Village opposite you, and immediately you will find a Donkey and a Colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me. And if anyone says anything to you, you will say, "The Lord has need of them, and immediately he will send them."

All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Prophet, saying, "Tell the Daughter of Zion, behold your KING is coming to you, Lowly and Sitting on a Donkey, a Colt, the Foal of a Donkey." So the Disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. They brought the Donkey and the Colt, laid their clothes on them and set Him on them. And a very Great Multitude spread their clothes on the road; Others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

Then the Multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying "HOSANNA TO THE SON OF DAVID! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD! HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST!" And when He had come into  JERUSALEM, all the City was moved, saying,

Who is this One Riding into Jerusalem on a lowly Donkey? The Apostle writes: "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Who being in the form of God, POSSESSING THE VERY  ESSENCE OF DEITY, did not consider it ROBBERY TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a Bondservant, and coming in the likeness of Men. And being found in appearance as a Man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto DEATH, EVER THE DEATH OF THE CROSS. Therefore God also has highly EXALTED HIM, and given Him a Name that is ABOVE every Name, THAT AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT "JESUS CHRIST" IS "LORD" TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER." Philippians 2:5-11

Friend, He came to give YOU LIFE, AND LIFE MORE ABUNDANT! Have you accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. Open the Door of your Heart, and BID HIM ENTER WHILE YOU MAY! If you will humbly do that, you too will say, HOSANNA TO THE SON OF DAVID. BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST. TRUE TO HIS NAME, HE WILL "SAVE NOW!"

              "ON PRESIDENT'S DAY, PRAYER IS VITAL!"

"Therefore, I exhort FIRST of all that Supplications, Prayers, Intercessions, and Giving of Thanks be made for "ALL" Men; For Kings and "ALL" who are in AUTHORITY, that they may lead a Peaceable Life in all Godliness and Reverence. For this is Good and Acceptable in the sight of GOD our SAVIOR, who desires "ALL" Men to be "SAVED" and come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH." I Timothy 2:1-4

Tremendous Responsibilities fall upon the shoulders of our President. Decisions that affect our Nation, our Citizen, and Nations of the World rest upon him, and his Staff. How much we need to be in "PRAYER" for President George W. Bush, that the Lord may grant him WISDOM and DIRECTION in all the affairs that relate to the NEEDS of our Country, and of those beyond our Borders. God has spoken and made clear that "RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A "NATION" BUT "SIN" IS A REPROACH TO ANY PEOPLE." Proverbs 14:34

It is encouraging to read some of the past President's statements spoken while holding this High and Lofty Position. "I have been Driven many times to my Knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go." "I believe the BIBLE is the BEST GIFT GOD has given to Men. All the Good from the SAVIOR of the World is communicated to us through this BOOK." "I like to see a Man Proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a Man live so HIS PLACE WILL BE PROUD OF HIM."(Abraham Lincoln) After Lincoln's reelection to the Presidency, he made this forceful statement that "He would be the most "SHALLOW and SELF-CONCEITED BLOCKHEAD" on Earth, if he ever thought he could do the job "WITHOUT "WISDOM" WHICH COMES FROM "GOD" AND NOT FROM MEN."

"Associate yourself with Men of GOOD QUALITY if you esteem your own REPUTATION, for 'tis better to be "ALONE" THAN IN "BAD" COMPANY." We must always remember that the Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent God still "RULES" from His Heavenly Throne in the affairs of the Nations. As the Prophet Daniel wrote: "THE MOST HIGH GOD "RULES" IN THE KINGDOM OF MEN, AND GIVES IT TO WHOMEVER HE WILL!" Rest assured, Friend, GOD IS IN CONTROL! He is WRITING HISTORY! He is moving all things to the great consummation, when the Lord Jesus Christ will come again and establish His Eternal Kingdom here on Earth, for "HE IS THE KING OF kings, and THE LORD OF lords, and of "HIS KINGDOM, THERE SHALL BE NO END."

The wonder of it all is found in these precious words of Scripture: "Grace from Jesus Christ, the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn from the DEAD, and the "RULER" over the kings of the Earth. To Him who "LOVED US" and "WASHED US" FROM OUR "SINS" IN HIS OWN BLOOD; AND HAS MADE US KINGS AND PRIESTS TO HIS GOD AND FATHER, TO HIM BE GLORY AND DOMINION FOREVER AND EVER. AMEN!" Revelation 1:5-6 "BLESSED and HOLY is he who has part in the First Resurrection. Over such the Second Death has no Power, but they shall be PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST, AND SHALL REIGN WITH HIM A THOUSAND YEARS." Revelation 20:6

Yes Friend, if you belong to JESUS CHRIST; If He is your LORD AND SAVIOR; YOU WILL ONE DAY "REIGN" WITH HIM! WHAT A DAY THAT IS GOING TO BE! DON'T MISS IT!

           "THE DEEPEST EXPRESSION OF LOVE!"

"RED HEARTS" are on display everywhere, reminding us that the Season of "LOVE" has arrived once more. "LOVE" indeed is in the Air, and we know "What the World Needs Now Is "LOVE!" Above all, God's "LOVE" Touching and Enhancing Every Relationship. King Solomon wrote these choice words about "LOVE!"

"Set me a SEAL upon your Heart, as a SEAL upon your arm; for "LOVE" is Strong as Death; Jealousy is Cruel as the Grave; the Coals thereof are Coals of Fire, which has a most Vehement Flame. Many Waters Cannot Quench "LOVE," nor can the Floods Drown it. If a Man would give for "LOVE" all the Wealth of his House, it would be utterly despised." Song of Solomon 8:6-7

"Though I speak with the Tongues of Men and of Angels, BUT have not "LOVE," I AM BECOME SOUNDING BRASS OR A CLANGING CYMBAL. And though I have the Gift of Prophecy, and Understand all Knowledge, and though I have all Faith, so that I could Remove Mountains, BUT have not "LOVE," I AM NOTHING! And though I bestow all my Goods to Feed the Poor, and though I Give my Body to be Burned, BUT have not "LOVE," IT PROFITS ME NOTHING!

"LOVE" NEVER FAILS! But whether there are Prophecies, they will Cease; Whether there are Tongues, they will be Stilled; Whether there is Knowledge, it will Pass Away. For we Know in Part, and we Prophecy in Part, but when that which is Perfect has Come. then that which is Imperfect shall Disappear.

When I was a Child, I Spoke like a Child, I Thought as a Child, I Reasoned like a Child; BUT when I became a Man, I put Childish Ways Behind Me. Now we See but a Poor Reflection as in a Mirror; Then we shall See Face to Face. Now I Know in Part; Then I shall Know Fully, even as I am Fully Known.

AND NOW THESE THREE REMAIN, "FAITH" "HOPE" AND "LOVE!" BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS "LOVE!"

IT IS IN THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD'S DIVINE "LOVE," IN "EVERY" RELATIONSHIP, THAT WE SHOW THE "GENUINENESS" OF OUR "FAITH" IN THE "CRUCIFIED" SAVIOR, AND THE LIVING "HOPE" WE HAVE THROUGH HIS "RESURRECTION" FROM THE DEAD. Friend, "We have an Inheritance that is Incorruptible and Undefiled and that does not Fade Away, "RESERVED" IN HEAVEN FOR US WHOSE FAITH RESTS ALONE IN THE SOON COMING KING OF kings, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!"

                             WHICH WILL IT BE?

A "BLESSED NEW YEAR" is one that the TRIALS OF LIFE cannot Destroy! TRUE BELIEVERS are not "BLESSED" because of what the world may give, but because of what GOD has given through the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Fortune, Good or Bad, should never be the "KEY" to a true Believer's HAPPINESS! Digest carefully these words recorded by the Apostle Paul: "Rejoice in the Lord Always. And again I will say, REJOICE!"

And then, this Giant Servant of Christ penned these words: "Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have "LEARNED" in "WHATEVER" state I am, to be CONTENT! I know how to be "ABASED" and I know how to "ABOUND!" Everywhere and in "ALL" things I have "LEARNED" both to be "FULL" and to be "HUNGRY" both to "ABOUND" and to "SUFFER" NEED. I CAN DO "ALL" THINGS THROUGH "CHRIST" WHO STRENGTHENS ME." Philippians 4:4-13

Did Paul mature to this level of Faith and Trust immediately at his Conversion? NO NEVER! He said, "I HAVE "LEARNED!" O yes, Christian Friend, he "LEARNED" as he endured much Pain, Rejection and Physical Suffering for the cause of Christ, that his "JOY" was not dependant upon these severe circumstances that touched his life, but on the PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST, his LORD and SAVIOR. That's why he and Silas, after being BEATEN with many STRIPES, and put into PRISON with their FEET placed in STOCKS, could at Midnight, Pray and Sing Hymns of Praise to God, that resulted in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his family. What a Testimony! YES, EVEN IN PRISON THEY WERE "REJOICING IN THE LORD!"

The Prophet Habakkuk wrote: "Though the Fig Tree may not blossom, nor Fruit be on the Vines; Though the labor of the Olive may Fail, and the Fields yield no Food; Though the Flock may be cut off from the Fold, and there be no Herd in the Stalls, YET I WILL "REJOICE" IN THE LORD! I WILL "JOY" IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION!" Habakkuk 3:17-18
